I would argue that both are wrong. It appears that neither is willing to realize the act of grace found within the global Christian community and the Scriptures that guide that community. Both rest in a sectarian hermeneutic that justifies their own presupposition to the faith.

I stumbled across this - nice work. We would do well to remember what it says in Colossians about not making up painful rules for ourselves but instead focusing on the things of Christ. I wonder why humans are so afraid of freedom!
